Farallon Islands is a cluster of coral islands in the along the continental shelf, about 45 kilometers west golden gate, san francisco, USA. Farallon is taken from the language Spanish meaning “pillar” or “sea cliff”, which is accurately describe the topography of the islands.
Farallon name given in 1603 by explorer Spanish nationals, Sebastian Vizcaino, who first map out this area.
